Prog Rock Feature: The Glutton-Parts of Animals

The Glutton met each other while studying in Oslo. Having quickly found common ground in musical taste, the band started to explore what would become their own dint in the musical world. Their music emerges where the melancholy of post-rock meets the inventiveness of progressive rock. Atmospheric soundscapes transform into monumental choruses, balkanasque forays and polyrhythmic side trips. In frail sections, one can discern traces of bands like Sigur Rós, while explosively energetic sections reveal an affection for The Mars Volta.
