Hal Caywood: Guitar, Vocals
Hal has been playing guitar almost all his life. Originally from the Pacific Northwest Hal has played many styles of music over the years and they all come together in Nevada Arcana. Hal also supplies lead vocals and song writing for the band. His influences include: Al Di Meola, Django Reinhardt, Steve Morris, Steve Howe and many others.
Brian Lester: Bass
Brian has been a professional musician for over 30 years and plays bass, guitar, keyboards and drums. He has been a recording engineer, studio owner, sound reinforcement engineer and design technician for over 30 years and has played in Hawaii, California and Nevada. He grew up in Cleveland, Ohio. His influences include: Jaco Pastorius, Francis Rocco Prestia, Stanley Clarke, Alphonso Johnson, Marcus Miller, Mahavishnu Orchestra, Weather Report, Umphrey’s McGee, Steely Dan, Yes, ELP, Sonia Dada and Return to Forever.
Scott Lukas: Keyboards, Electronic Wind Instrument
Scott has been playing keyboards, saxophone, bass clarinet and bass recorder for over 30 years. In the 1990s he wrote a ‘rock opera’ and has performed in various ensembles and groups—jazz bands, quartets, solo performances, top 40 and industrial bands. He grew up in Indiana. His influences include: Rick Wakeman, Keith Emerson, Vangelis Papathanassiou, John Cage, Philip Glass, King Crimson, Frank Zappa, ELP, Yes, The Nice, Return to Forever, In Extremo, King’s X, the Who and Aphrodite’s Child.
TC Twitchell: Drums, Vocals
TC has been playing drums for over 30 years. He currently plays a Roland TDK 20 SX with a single kick, 5 toms and 8 cymbals. He also plays piano and has recorded three piano albums. He was born and raised in Seattle, Washington and grew up in the 80s rock world of the city. He moved to Reno in the mid-90s and operates a recording studio called “TC’s HQ.” His influences include: Phil Collins (Genesis), Neil Peart (Rush), Alan White (Yes), Dave Krusen (Pearl Jam), Carter Beauford (Dave Mathews) and his mother—a drummer, guitar player and vocalist.
